The North East Guide to Grants for Voluntary Organisations contains information on over 113 charitable Trusts with an estimated £55 million available annually to voluntary and community organisations in the North East.

 

The Guide includes:

  • Grant-making policies, procedures and lists of recent grants made. Most of information has been provided by the trusts themselves.

  • Trusts listed alphabetically making it easy to identify appropriate funders and by subject, type of organisation and size of grant.

  • A model letter of application.

The database provides information on the following funders:

  • Health Authority / PCT

You can search the database either by:

  • Funder's name

  • Funding programme

  • Type of organisation

  • Type of grant

  • Amount of funding

  • Geographical area

  • Subject categories

The database is updated on an on-going basis when new or amended information is received.

 

A subscription to the database depends on the type of organisation and the number of site licences required.

 

NOTE: Both payment and a signed copy of the Terms & Conditions are needed before your subscription will be activated.

News You Can Use -

An email bulletin sent at least 44 times a year allowing subscribers to keep up to date with funding opportunities e.g. National, Central and Local Government, Lottery, European and Charitable Trusts and Foundations.

A full year's subscription runs from January to December:

 

If your organisation has satellite offices or other people within your office would like to receive News You Can Use you need to take out a network subscription.

  • Subscriptions run from January to December each year. If you wish to start your subscription part way through the year please contact us for details on rates.

Subscription Rates:

  • Regional VCS organisations with an income of LESS than £100,000 per year - £50.00.

  • Regional VCS organisations with an income of MORE than £100,000 per year - £65.00.

  • Regional Statutory/profit making organisations - £150.00.

  • Outside Region VCS organisations - £80.00.

  • Outside Region Statutory/profit making organisations - £180.00.

Network subscriptions start at:

£130 per year for voluntary and community groups

£300 per year for statutory / profit-making organisations.
