Annual Membership Form

As part of the 2007 survey, members were asked to consider whether they would be in favour of an annual membership fee to contribute towards the running of the North East Funders Forum. There was an unanimous response in favour of a modest charge.

The purpose of Funders Forum is to:

1. Encourage good practice in funding to the voluntary and community sector.

2. Through mutual co-operation and sharing information and ideas to maximise the value and impact of funding to voluntary and community organisations and thus the benefit to people in the North East of England.

Membership of the forum is open to any organisation that supports the purpose and provides funds to voluntary or community organisations active in the North East of England.

Membership Benefits:

1. Bi-monthly meetings where issues relevant to funders will be discussed.

2. Networking opportunities to meet with a wide range of funders to share knowledge and good practice.

3. Identifying partnership opportunities to benefit local groups.

4. Input into regional strategies and policies.

5. Awareness raising of latest funding opportunities and policies which benefit funders.

6. Copies of presentations and discussion notes.

7. Circulation of any other relevant information.

8. Dedicated pages within FINE’s website.

9. Membership is per organisation not individual, therefore there is no limit on the number of colleagues who can attend meetings.

Membership Rates

Band 1: £50.00

Charitable Trusts / Foundations with an annual income up to £1 million.          

Band 2: £100.00

Charitable Trusts / Foundations with an annual income in excess of £1 million.

Band 3: £100.00

Local Authorities, other public sector funders and Corporate Sector within the North East.
