What is FINE?

 

Funding Information North East (FINE) is a project of six Local Development Agencies (LDA's) in the North East of England:

  • Community Action Northumberland

  • Gateshead Voluntary Organisations Council

  • Newcastle Council for Voluntary Service

  • North Tyneside Voluntary Organisations Development Agency

  • South Tyneside Council for Voluntary Service

  • Sunderland Centre for Voluntary Service

and covers County Durham, Northumberland, Tees Valley and Tyne & Wear.

FINE is funded by a number of local grant-making trusts as well as generating income from the services it provides.

FINE is managed by Gateshead Voluntary Organisations Council, employs three full-time and one part-time staff, has a Development Group (comprising the Directors of the six LDA's) which meets quarterly.
